DKNY gets real

Diese Fashionshow wird als eine der vielfältigsten in die Geschichte der "New York Fashion Week" eingehen. Neben "normalen" Models schickte Designerin Donna Karan bekannte kurvige Damen wie Melissa Burns oder das Transgender-Model Andrej Pejic auf den Laufsteg. Und zwischendurch: Non-models, die Karan auf New Yorks Straßen gecastet hat. Die Fashiondesignerin über dieses "außergewöhnliche" Line-up: "DKNY really is about the streets. It's about the streets of New York, the energy of New York, the people of New York. You know, seeing how they do their hair, and their look and their style. Designers try to keep up with them."
